Welcome to Züm Sushi, where classic Japanese tradition meets modern flair in the heart of Pacific Grove! Back in 2015, Chef Chris Choi turned his dream into reality, leaving his job at a sushi bar in Gilroy to create something of his own. When his wife’s career brought them to the Monterey Peninsula, Chris saw the perfect opportunity to share his passion for authentic sushi with the community.

Züm Sushi has grown from a small family venture into a local favorite, with a talented team of 15 keeping things running like clockwork. Our menu celebrates the artistry of traditional Japanese sushi, featuring fresh sashimi, nigiri, and time-honored rolls, alongside innovative specialty creations. With a cozy atmosphere and a dog-friendly patio, we’re all about making you feel at home while serving dishes that honor the essence of sushi.
